CAPISCE COFFEE

Female owned and operated coffee shop on the outskirts of Lake Placid.  All your usual coffee based drinks, as well as a selection of teas, matcha, pastries, sandwiches, smoothies, snacks, and specials.

The original Origin Coffee Company coffee shop can be found in Saranac Lake, but they also have a location in Lake Placid, right across from the Olympic speed skating oval.  Also make fine smoothies.

THE COFFEE BAR

BIG SLIDE AND LAKE PLACID PUB

Two sister establishments, one in the center of Lake Placid (the Pub) and one out toward the ski jumping complex (Big Slide).  Each offers a different experience, with Big Slide tending to have the more experimental brews.  Good food at both locations.

GREAT ADIRONDACK BREWING COMPANY

Located in the center of Lake Placid offering a wide selection of beer on tap.  Food options range from traditional pub fare to more sophisticated steaks, seafood, and their famous prime rib.

AUSABLE BREWING COMPANY

A farm-based nanobrewery located on 140 acres in the Champlain Valley just east of the Adirondack High Peaks. Dedicated to serving a variety of high quality ales, lagers and house sodas in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.  Food trucks often provide food.
